Privacy Policy

Quantiventra Lite

Package name: com.Quantiventra.lite
Effective date: July 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Ray App Lab ("we", "us", or "the Developer") handles information in the Android application "Quantiventra Lite" ("the App").

1. Developer and Contact

Developer: Ray App Lab / Quantiventra Project.

For privacy inquiries, please use the developer contact information shown on the Google Play store listing for this App. This is the current inquiry mechanism for this temporary policy site.

2. App Purpose

Quantiventra Lite is an inventory count, stock management, and POS support app for small shops, small stockrooms, and compact storage spaces.

3. Data We Handle

During normal use, inventory records, product codes, product names, stock quantities, locations, item categories, tax settings, POS sale records, and related business data are stored locally on the user's device.

We do not operate a developer server that collects the business data entered or scanned in the App during normal use.

4. Permissions and App Features

Permission or featurePurpose
CameraUsed to scan barcodes and QR codes for inventory and POS operations. The App uses camera input for scanning and does not intentionally save, upload, or transmit photos or videos to a developer server.
File selection, export, and sharingUsed when the user imports or exports CSV files, creates backups, or shares files. Files are read or written only through user-selected destinations and user-initiated actions.
Google Play BillingUsed for subscriptions, purchase checks, and purchase restoration. Payment and subscription processing are handled by Google Play.
External linksWhen the user opens a website, help page, or Google Play page from the App, the browser or Google Play may process information according to their own policies.

5. Collection, Sharing, and Sale of Data

We do not sell personal or sensitive user data.

During normal inventory and POS use, we do not collect or share the user's locally stored inventory or sales data through a developer-operated server.

If the user chooses to export, back up, or share data, the user controls the destination. The selected destination may be another app, storage provider, email app, or other service, and that destination may handle data under its own terms and privacy policy.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Data entered in the App is stored on the user's device until the user deletes it, resets app data, uninstalls the App, or overwrites/imports data through App features.

The App does not currently provide a developer-hosted account system. Because we do not host user accounts or normal inventory data on a developer server, deletion of local data is controlled from the device and App features.

7. Security

The App is designed primarily for local, offline-capable use. Users are responsible for protecting their device, exported files, and backups.

When network communication occurs through Google Play, a browser, or another external service selected by the user, those services are responsible for their own security and privacy practices.

8. Children

The App is intended for business, inventory, stockroom, shop, and warehouse operations. It is not directed to children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App changes, when legal requirements change, or when Google Play requirements change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

10. Data Safety Note

The Google Play Data safety form should be kept consistent with this Privacy Policy and with the actual behavior of Quantiventra Lite, including camera use, local storage, file export/import, and Google Play Billing.
